First day of our Reaper cycle. The sprint portion is one of our benchmark tests. I want you to set up two cones 25m apart. Sprint to the far cone, touch your hand to the ground, and do the same with the starting cone. 6 down and backs will total 300m. Knock 1 out, rest 1 minute, then do it again. Your average time is your score. We’ll test this throughout the cycle.
For the Back Squat and OHP choose a weight that challenges the movement, but doesn’t change the movement. Failing the set should not be a consideration. We’ll be adding 10 pounds each week to the squat and 5 pounds to the press. You’ll be squatting twice a week, so add 5 lbs each session.
