One thing I enjoy about reviewing products for SpotterUp.Com is that I get to review products from companies that are new to me.  Enter Viktos… Viktos is headquartered in Wisconsin and is Veteran owned. The company expresses its wish to pursue and follow the “Black Gun” lifestyle from training to everyday life styles.

Left Side/Right Side

When I received my Kadre shorts in Nightfjal (dark gray) color,  I immediately noticed just how lightweight the fabric was. Constructed out of 92% polyester and 8% spandex, the Kadre shorts have the give needed in your everyday movements to make them the most comfortable shorts you will own. Add in that they have a padded waistband, laser cut vent holes in the legs for air flow, more pockets then you can find things to put in and over sized belt loops to fit larger belts makes the Kadre shorts one that you nee to put on your to buy list .

Side Zipper/Ventilation Holes/Backside

Lets get into the pockets. All the pockets have zippers. The front shorts pockets are deep enough to accommodate not just your hands but, what ever else you want of fill them with and when zipped up are safe from anything falling out of them. The two rear pockets are deep enough that I can fit my Note 8 phone with a sturdy case inside and after zipping the pocket not have to worry about the phone falling out. The two cargo pockets are deep and have a zipper that looks like one that you would find on waterproof jackets. Easy to zip open and close. I had no issues with snagging at all.

Doing overwatch

I had an extensive review with these shorts. Normally I would have my reviews out in a couple weeks, for the shorts I took longer. For over a month I have worn, washed and tried every conceivable way to use the pockets. I have worn them in the heat and humidity of Southern Florida as well as in the always changing climate in Illinois and they were great! After numerous wash cycles and everyday wear I can find nothing wrong with them. The color has not faded and there are no issues with any of the zippers. The Kadre shorts still fit great and are comfortable around the waist and crotch.  My only complaint could be that there are only 3 colors available. The colors available are Nightfjall (dark gray), LEO (black) and Ranger (an olive drab green) and are priced at $75.00. If they had a navy blue, I could have used them at work. Just a suggestion for the next color Viktos………

All in all, a great pair of shorts. While some may balk at the price, I feel that for a good pair of shorts the Kadre is more then worth it. Go and get yourselves some!!!!!
