The Carlos Ray 2.1 Pants from Tactical Distributors are not the usual “tactical Timmy” pants, these are THE Chuck Norris pants.

…These are by a land-slide the MOST comfortable every-day pants I’ve ever owned.

In my semi-serious opinion, the Carlos Ray (Chuck Norris’s real name) pants are designed to never be taken off.

I say that purely on my experience sporting these for the last month just doing normal dude things; yard work, tile-work, shooting matches, hiking the Shenandoah VA mountains etc. These are by a land-slide the MOST comfortable pants I’ve ever owned in any pants category (everyday pants, cargo/tactical/duty pants).

I’ve worn these until the wife informed me I may actually be a disgusting human being. “It’s for the review babe”, that didn’t float.

The Carlos Ray 2.1’s are everyday pants with an incredible fit and designed with 4 way stretch cotton to be lightweight and extremely flexible. This is fully branded with a famous Chuck Norris high-kick. My shooting team partner Joshua Shaw putting the pants to good use. Image below.

Tactical Distributors (TD) produced a great video highlighting each feature of these pants listed below:

  • Secret Hand Cuff Key Pocket in Waistband
  • Updated Belt Loops
  • Extended Pocket Reinforcement
  • Mag/Mobile Pockets on Both Sides
  • Triple Needle Top Stitch at Impact Seams
  • Stretch Cotton Twill Fabric 97% Cotton 3% Spandex
  • Tactical Reinforced Pocketing
  • Shank Button
  • Articulated Knees
  • Gusseted Crotch

One incredible thing about these pants is their evolution of design where TD listens to customer feedback and just keeps making them better. It is also not surprising that Tactical Distributors also carries top reviews for customer service.

The Carlos Ray 2.1’s are a high-quality production and I believe these are perfect for everyday use. One of the first things I noticed is while driving is that the stretch of the fabric is enough to be able to quickly grab items from your pockets but the fabric is still durable enough where I’m not concerned with wear/tear.

I believe the fabric of these pants could get beat up during field/heavy duty wear. These are designed to be insanely comfortable and durable for most scenarios, but I can see where the fabric may not hold up to  ground work, field deployments, chugging through brush etc.

The Carlos Ray’s are sold via the Tactical Distributors website for just under $60.00 and carry their customer satisfaction warranties of free returns.

I do believe these pants deserve to sport the great name of Chuck Norris and I’ll hands down recommend these to any folks looking for a REAL pair of everyday pants.

As TD continues to accept customer feedback I’ll be monitoring to see if another version is on the horizon, although I can’t imagine these pants getting better.

  1. Are the leg openings big enough to fit over a pair of Merrell hiking boots? That is my biggest complaint about my Vertx pants is the leg openings are not big enough to wear with anything other than a pair of Vans.
