Courteney Handcrafted Adventure Footwear construct some of the coolest hand made boots for any adventure. They are brought here by African Sporting Creations. Over the past couple months, I pushed the Brown Safari Boots through some tough trials. The Safari Boot is a four-inch ankle height boot with a cleat like sole, brass speed lacing, padded collar, plus a double stitched reinforced vamp that makes the Safari a great pick for a hunting boot. The Safari style boot is available in a lot of different materials and colors, some very exotic ones at that.

These boots out the box have an amazing look to them and really versatile. I have worn them out on the trail and out to dinner. The look of these boot fit many occasions. They truly look and function great.

African Sporting Creations notes boots are: “A slightly modified, four-inch ankle height boot, the Safari affords the very same features as our Selous with the same hand crafted construction and genuine Buffalo hide upper and natural rubber tyre tread sole. Brass speed lacing, padded Impala collar plus double stitched and reinforced vamp, provides an exceptional choice as a true stalking boot. The wide-cut and roomy toe box provides unmatched comfort. Available in Men’s US 8.0 – 12.0.”

I do not expect the Safari boots to wear out anytime soon. For example, these boots went through many miles with me and are still in excellent condition. There is no sign of real wear. When I first put on the boots, there was stiffness as expected from a leather. However, the break in period was relatively quick and I was able to wear the boots on trails within a week. The most significant change has been the increase comfort as the leather has adjust to my foot pattern.

Boots are a huge part of my everyday life. I am on my feet most of the day, outdoors and on some rougher terrain sometimes. I typically trek through muddy and rocky terrain every weekend and these boots have not let me down yet. I typically burn through a pair of hiking boots every six months.

As far as the pricing, they are not the cheapest boots on the market, but you get what you pay for with these boots. They retail for $339.00. Handmade with the highest level of craftsmanship and will last forever will be easier on your wallet in the long run than having to replace a pair yearly.

Overall, I would definitely suggest the Safari boots from Courteney Handcrafted Adventure Footwear for the sportsmen looking for an extremely versatile boot to last.
