STREAMLIGHT® INTRODUCES PROTAC® 90

Compact Right-Angle Light Attaches to Tactical Gear for Hands-Free Use

Eagleville, PA, January 22, 2018 – Streamlight®, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting and weapon light/laser sighting devices, introduced the ProTac® 90, the latest addition to the ProTac® series of tactical lights.  The ultra-compact, 300-lumen light features a 90-degree head for right-angle lighting, and also permits varied fuel options, including the use of a single CR123A lithium, AA alkaline or AA lithium battery.  

“The combination of its light output, size, and multi-fuel technology make the ProTac 90 one of the brightest and most versatile tactical lights on the market today,” said Streamlight Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Michael F. The ProTac 90 uses the latest in power LED technology for extreme brightness. Offering three different lighting modes, the light features a TEN-TAP® programmable switch, which allows for user selection from among three programs: high/strobe/low (factory default); high only; or low/high. The ProTac 90 is powered by either one CR123A lithium, AA alkaline, or AA lithium battery.  When using a CR123A battery, it delivers 300 lumens and 5,400 candela over a 147-meter beam distance on High. Run times range from 1 hour and 45 minutes to 5 hours and 30 minutes on High, and from 8 hours and 15 minutes to 15 hours on Low, depending on battery selection.

Fabricated from machined aircraft aluminum with a black anodized finish, the ProTac 90 features a multi-function, push-button tactical switch that permits one-handed operation of the momentary, variable intensity and strobe modes. In addition, the light can operate while in the holster.

The ProTac 90 measures just 3.78 inches in length and weighs 2.8 ounces with a CR123A battery or 3.1 ounces when using the AA alkaline battery.  Both batteries are included.  The light has an IPX7-rated design for waterproof operation to one meter for 30 minutes, and is impact resistance-tested to two meters.

The ProTac  90 has an MSRP of $68.00.  It comes with a removable pocket clip and Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.  

STREAMLIGHT® LAUNCHES PROTAC® RAIL MOUNT HL-X LASER

 Multi-Fuel Light Features Double Switch Functionality, Adjustable Red Aiming Laser

Eagleville, PA, January 22, 2019 – Streamlight® Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting and weapon light/laser sighting devices, introduced a laser-equipped model of its popular ProTac® Rail Mount HL-X weapon light. The ultra-bright long-gun light delivers 1,000 lumens, while offering double-switch functionality and an integrated red aiming laser with a unique clamp design to maintain windage and elevation adjustments. 

The ProTac Rail Mount HL-X Laser offers the latest in close combat/defense illumination technology for rifles, carbines, and sub-machine guns with MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rails.  Its specially designed clamp allows the light to rotate to maintain windage and elevation settings in any mounted position. The new light also features multi-fuel options, including either a USB rechargeable system that uses a Streamlight 18650 USB battery, or a CR123A lithium battery version.

The new light uses a high power LED to deliver blinding white light that produces a concentrated beam with optimum peripheral illumination.  Featuring high, low and strobe settings, on the high setting, the ProTac Rail Mount HL-X provides 1,000 lumens and 18,200 candela over a beam distance of 270 meters. On low, the light provides 60 lumens and 1,100 candela over a beam distance of 66 meters.  The new light also features TEN-TAP® programming that allows user selection of one of three different programs: high/strobe (factory default); high only; or low/high. 

The light is powered by either one Streamlight 18650 USB battery or two CR123A lithium batteries. When using an 18650 USB battery, the ProTac Rail Mount HL-X Laser delivers up to 1.5 hours of run time on high and 23 hours on the low setting.  With CR123A lithium batteries inserted, the light provides up to one hour and 15 minutes of run time on high and over 20 hours on low.  

The ProTac Rail Mount HL-X Laser mounts to a broad range of weapons safely and securely by means of a one-handed easy on-and-tighten interface that permits users to keep their hands away from the gun muzzle. The light can be operated with either a multi-function, push-button tactical tail cap switch or a dual remote pressure switch with latching push-button. Both switches allow for one-handed operation of the momentary, variable intensity or strobe settings. 

Fabricated from 6000 series machined aluminum with a black anodized finish, the light features a high temperature, impact-resistant Boro Float glass lens. It measures 6.56 inches in length, with its weight varying depending on the two battery options. With the CR123A battery, the light weighs 10.3 ounces; it weighs 10.8 ounces with an 18650 USB battery.    

The light is IPX4 rated for water-resistant operation. Extensively live fire tested, it features impact-resistant construction and an extensive operating temperature.

Streamlight offers an optional 18650 Battery Charger that can recharge either one or two batteries simultaneously, and permits charging through either AC/DC or USB power sources.  

The ProTac Rail Mount HL-X with the 18650 USB battery has an MSRP of $275.00 and includes a rail grabber, pushbutton tail cap switch, remote pressure switch, hardware kit and 22-inch USB cord. The CR123 A lithium battery model has an MSRP of $260.00. The light comes with Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

STREAMLIGHT® INTRODUCES TL-RACKER SHOTGUN FOREND LIGHT

All-in-One Shotgun Forend Light Features Sleek Design; Delivers 850 Lumens

STREAMLIGHT® LAUNCHES TLR-6® NON-LASER 

FOR SELECT GLOCK® AND M&P® SHIELD™ HANDGUNS

Eagleville, PA, January 22, 2019 – Streamlight® Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting and weapon light/laser sighting devices, introduced non-laser versions of its popular TLR-6® ultra-compact, lightweight weapons light. Available with three different light housings that securely attach to the trigger guard of select Glock® and M&P® Shield™ handguns, the new models are designed to maximize visibility in a variety of tactical and home defense applications.

Ultra-Lightweight, Low-Profile Tactical Light Features “Eye Safe” Green Aiming Laser

The exceptionally lightweight and compact light is designed to maximize visibility and long-range targeting capability in a variety of tactical applications.

STREAMLIGHT® INTRODUCES TLR-6® FOR USE WITH SIG SAUER® P365® 

Tactical Light/Laser Features One-Hour Run Time, Integrated Red Aiming Laser

 

Eagleville, PA, January 22, 2019 – Streamlight® Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting and weapon light/laser sighting devices, introduced a new version of its ultra-compact TLR-6® rail mount weapon light, designed to securely attach to the rail and trigger guard of SIG SAUER® P365® subcompact handguns. The new light/laser module, which uses an ultra-bright power LED, also features an integrated red aiming laser.  

The TLR-6 is designed to maximize visibility and targeting capability in a variety of concealed carry, home defense and tactical applications. Streamlight introduced the light — an industry first — in 2015 with a housing designed to fit the trigger guard of Glock® 42 and Glock® 43 handguns. Today, the company offers multiple models of the light to fit a variety of compact pistols and full-size handguns.

The light is manufactured from durable, impact-resistant engineered polymer. It is IPX4 rated for water-resistant operation, and also is impact-resistant tested to one meter. The new model is 2.5 inches in length, and weighs 1.12 oz.

STREAMLIGHT® INTRODUCES TLR-VIR® II TACTICAL ILLUMINATOR 

Low-Profile Light Features Three Functions, Adjustable Eye-Safe IR Aiming Laser

 

EAGLEVILLE, PA, January 22, 2019 – Streamlight®, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting and weapon light/laser sighting devices, introduced the TLR-VIR® II, a lightweight, compact rail-mounted tactical light with a high intensity white LED, an integrated infrared (IR) LED illuminator, and Class 1 “Eye Safe” IR aiming laser with windage and elevation adjustment controls. The new light securely fits all long guns with MIL-STD-1913 rails and M17/M18 pistols.

The TLR-VIR II enables users to easily toggle easily between bright light and the IR illuminator/laser. This feature allows military and law enforcement personnel to remain in a proper firing position when making the transition from IR mode to white light, and vice versa.  The light features a three-position mode rear selector switch, including IR illumination/IR laser, Safe Off (to prevent accidental turn-on), and visible illumination, that enables users to keep hands away from the muzzle during mode selection.

The new light, which is powered by a single CR123A lithium battery, uses the latest in LED technology for ultra-bright visible light, providing 5,000 candela, 300 lumens and a 1.5 hour run time.  For IR lighting, the TLR-VIR II uses an 850-nanometer LED emitter with 600mW/sr radiant intensity, providing optimum illumination when using night vision equipment; it delivers a run time of 12 hours. Its IR aiming laser has fully adjustable windage and elevation settings. 

The TLR-VIR II has an ambidextrous momentary/steady on-off switch.  Like other TLR® models, the light has a rail clamp that can be easily attached and tightened with one hand, without the use of tools. The IR illumination/laser mode selection also features a tactile indicator on the light housing for switching modes with ease.

The TLR-VIR II is constructed from machined aircraft aluminum, with a coyote anodized finish body and a high-impact, chemically resistant polymer black switch housing.  

The compact light weighs only 3.82 ounces and measures 3.30 inches long and 1.40 inches high. It uses a high temperature, shock-mounted, impact-resistant Borofloat glass lens.  

Featuring extensively live-fire tested construction, the TLR-VIR II has an IPX7 rated design for waterproof operation to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It has an MSRP of $600.00.

STREAMLIGHT® INTRODUCES SIEGE X® USB  

Compact USB Rechargeable Lantern Features Flashlight Mode 

Eagleville, PA, January 22, 2019 – Streamlight®, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting tools, introduced the Siege® X USB, a multi-function, ultra-compact USB rechargeable lantern with multiple lighting modes, including a forward flashlight setting. The new light, designed to work in a wide variety of tactical, outdoor, DIY and other applications, delivers up to 325 lumens in lantern mode and up to 300 lumens in its flashlight setting.  

The Siege X USB features three different lighting modes: smooth lantern lighting; a red LED setting to preserve night vision; and a front spot light to use the lantern as a handheld flashlight. The lantern handle, as well as a D-ring at its base, allow users to easily hang the light for large area lighting needs. 

“We designed the Siege X USB to give first responders, outdoor enthusiasts, technicians and others the ultimate in lighting versatility,” said Streamlight Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Michael F. Dineen, “The light functions as both a 360o lantern that can be used stationary or hands-free, as well as a tactical handheld light.  It also offers the convenience of USB rechargeability, and, because it weighs just under half a pound, it is easy to carry and store.”    

Powered by a Streamlight 18650 USB battery, the Siege X USB includes a battery indicator built into the on/off button that flashes red when the battery needs to be recharged. The light also can accept two CR123A disposable lithium batteries when a recharging source is not at hand.

In lantern mode, multiple white LEDs provide high, medium and low settings, and deliver 325 lumens on high; in night vision mode, three red LEDs offer high and flash SOS settings. When operated as a flashlight, the lantern uses a single white power LED with two settings, providing up to 300 lumens.  Run times range from 4.5 to 25 hours in lantern mode; 22 to 90 hours on the night vision setting; and 3.5 to 25 hours in flashlight mode. 

The Siege X USB is 4.35 inches high and weighs 7.2 ounces (with the included 18650 USB).  With CR123 batteries (not included), the light weighs 6.8 ounces.

Featuring tough polycarbonate thermoplastic construction with elastomer over mold, the Siege X USB is IPX7 rated for waterproof operation to one meter, and is impact resistance-tested to 2 meters.  The D-Ring on the bottom is spring loaded to fold out of the way when not in use.  An ergonomic handle makes the lantern easy to carry, and is designed to hook onto any edge or bar.   

Available in Coyote, the Siege X USB has an MSRP of $75.00. The lantern includes Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
