Wraps Wearable Braided Wrist Headphones

The Wraps Wearable Braided Wrist Headphones is an item my wife discovered via reading a fitness magazine and after calling the company they were thoughtful enough to send us five to test out. The company sent us their wood, leather and classic versions, in five different colors.

As athletes we continually use headphones to connect to our music source. I find it to be a continual chore to untangle my headphones after they’ve been wrapped around an iPod or inserted into my running shorts.

An English company has come up with a savvy solution to this problem. With the Wraps product a user is able to wrap them around their wrist in a stylish way and not worry about tangling issues when they’ve been inserted into a bag or pocket.

There are some pros to using the wraps: You don’t have storage issues because they are wrapped around your wrist, no more tangle problems, and they look stylish if you want a different look.

Honestly this isn’t an item I would look for online and make a purchase. Simply not my style and I don’t care for the loud colors. When my wife told me they had a camo green color similar to Olive Drab Green I relinquished and tried them out. They vary in price from $18.99-$65.00.

The headphones come in wood, leather and the classic version is simply braided cable.  They offer what is called their Classic, Talk Version, Natural, Core, and Limited Edition.

The wrapping is smart enough that you see exactly what you are getting. Good for runners, gym rats and for your kids who are constantly losing their headphones and grabbing yours.

Each Wraps gets a small, medium and large ear tips

The cables are not elastic but they are very strong

Step 1Step 2 You can make it prettier than what I did.

They’ve definitely improved their offerings. The original wraps Gen 1 did not let the user do anything other than use the headphones for video watching or music listening. It’s good to have the talk option. I spend a lot of time making phone calls and talking to others when running.

The wraps are easy to use. Grab the ear buds in your hands, wrap the cable around your wrist using the other hand, and insert the audio jack into the clasp. The cables are not elastic. Of course you do not need to wrap these around your wrist and can simply use them like any other headphone. There are expensive headphones on the market but none that provide the utility of the Wraps. Not a bad idea. Give them a try.
