Warrior Expo West continues to be shaping up as the place to be 19-20 April.  Defense, security and law enforcement material solutions provider, ADS hosts this unique event to showcase select products that address our most pressing needs.  Spotter Up previously mentioned the unique training opportunities that are going to be available.  Today and only by Spotter Up, do we have a sampling and virtual tour of some of the cutting edge equipment, technology and gear.

Medical – For more than a decade medical techniques and technology advances have increased the wounded warfighters survivability exponentially in comparison to past conflicts but we still must do more.  Here are some of the products that can make that happen.

MedSled by Arc Products (Booth # 636) – Patient Extraction Device

Traumatic Brain Detection System by BrainScope (Booth #517) – Live brain scans will be conducted.  On the battlefield these tests can be administered for preliminary brain damage assessment.

Combat Support Equipment (CSE) – We have had the luxury in the past of operating from secure facilities.  That can’t be guaranteed in the future.  Further, future conflicts may require a lightening response on the smallest possible support infrastructure.  Efficiency becomes critical.  We are also searching for ways to improve the survivability of those that go in harm’s way.  Solutions to these problems are…

Vertical Carousel by Sencorp White (Booth #1535) – Automated storage system that can hold over 800lbs and lifted 30ft in the air saving floor space.)

Air Cases by Pelican (Booth #1013) – Superior strength but light in compison to traditional cases.

Brenergy High Energy Lithium Battery by Bren-Tronics (Booth #1416) – One of these batteries replaces two lead batteries at half the weight AND size.

Ballistic Door Panel by Angel Armor (Booth #1335) – Recently our police have had to take cover behind car doors that only stop bullets in the movies.  This changes that situation in 30 minutes.

ESS – Shades to see!  Crossblade Eyesheilds; Regular & Naro Fit, Jumpmaster Goggle

Drifire – Check out Drifire/Crye Precision Field Gear.

C4ISR – Advantages in this field allow us to be inside our advesaries’ decision cycle.  That allows us to fight and win when a simple numbers analysis would point in a different direction.  Maintaining this edge is critical especially in a world filled with old and new threats.

Tactical Electronics – more to come!

Cooling and Thermal Systems by Rini Technologies (Booth #1520) – Technology to cool and heat people when they needed most and in the most austere environments.

WING Inflatables (Booth #1425 &1527) – WING will display two never seen before boats.

Nomad: White TCV – Provides organizations the capability to have on site communications in seven minutes coupled with a super small and relatively light vehicle platform.

Weapons & Optics – The needs in this field often get the most attention but true innovation is hard to come by.

C-Nod by Rochester Precision Optics will be in the Strategos booth. (Booth #1516) – New fully digital night vision product.

Kraken by Cadex Defence (Booth #1125) – Multi-caliber rifle that you can quickly change/swap out barrels/receivers in the field.

This is a small sampling of some of the coolest concepts.  Other companies in attendance include:

Barefoot Science (Booth #632)

Belleville Boot Company (Booth #617)

Rocky Boots (Booth# 1009)

Beyond Clothing (Booth# 801)

Dix Defense (Booth # 1215)

Motorola (Booth #1216)

Bauer Compressors (Booth #1517)

Shark Cage (Booth #1023)
