What is different about these targets? Made from recycled rubber they are Self-Healing. After being shot the rubber compresses and expands to self-heal. As the bullet passes through the target the paint is rubbed off, revealing the dark rubber and giving a highly visible and accurate hit marker. There is a hole, but it is much smaller than the round which passed through it. Guaranteed up to 110 rounds of 5.56 per square inch they take a beating.
Let me share the experience that sold me on these targets. I recently went to Red Oktober 2022 in Las Vegas. This is a gathering of AK enthusiasts and an AK match. This year, they exclusively used Infinity targets. Four days of shooting, each target was engaged with over 1,500 rounds of 7.62 x 39, 5.56mm, 5.45 x 39 and 9mm. The hits were as easy to see on day four as they were on day one. Dozens of these targets performed brilliantly in a torture test far beyond what I could finance.
If that’s not enough, on the third day of the match, a wind storm hit with gusts up to 50 mph. A wood structure on one of he stages was destroyed and flung over a 15 foot berm. The Infinity targets, wood screwed into 1×2 frames did not move. Other targets would have never survived.

Like anything else, to get the most from these targets, you must use them properly. They works with all calibers up to .45, bigger than that and they cannot self heal. If you use hollow point, expanding, flat nose ammunition, the wear rate is accelerated. For safety reasons, Infinity recommends that you shoot target no closer than 1 foot from the muzzle to the target.
I have seen reviewers shoot these targets with shotguns. They work great and are safe. The also get large holes in them. Not recommended for any type of shotgun applications.
These targets are limited only by your imagination. While they do have their limitations, they are the best solution to close quarters shooting providing a safe target that does not shred from muzzle blast. They stand up to extreme weather and are fast to mark.
