The boot is constructed of waterproof full grain leather with a mesh upper capped with a toe bumper made up of a composite material called thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) which acts as a protective reinforcement in the toe area. This is a great feature for kicking down doors or things. The lightweight, breathable, waterproof membrane keeps the feet dry which enhances comfort and flexibility while providing superb support.

The best way to describe the feel of this boot on your feet is that you stand over the sole vice in it which allows for rapid movement. The cushioned midsole allows for comfortable medial support and the construction of the boot permits a lot of flexibility which enhances movement. The sole is uniquely designed; its athletic looking and uniquely designed for chasing down bad guys. The slip-resistant rubber outsole provides excellent traction and durability, and features supportive TPU arch support for added comfort during long hours on your feet.

I wore this boot every day for work, travel, and during some long walks in an urban environment. I love this boot. This is a great boot for law enforcement professionals or other professions where you need to be hustling to get the job done. The only critique I have of this boot is the insole needs some improvement but this should not be a deciding factor to buy the boot.
