I literally just got an email from Sig this morning that stated that they are releasing a new pistol onto the market in 2018. It is the P365 and it is a double stack ultra-compact 9mm that is modeled closely after the P320 as best I can tell. The pistol in the picture has a pinky extension, but it also comes with a flush fitting magazine for maximum concealment.

This firearm comes in the size range of the M&P compact with a height of about 4.3″ with a 3.1″ barrel rated for +P and has a 10 round flush fitting capacity and a 12 round extended magazine for more capacity and purchase. This firearm is retailing with an MSRP of $600. Also, all their pistols are going to come with Siglite Night sights.

The trigger on the P365 looks to be the same style trigger on the P320, which would be natural given the fact that people love the trigger on that pistol. But I am going to be curious to see if this pistol suffers from the same drop safe issues that the P320 did. Should be interesting. The name and nomenclature is supposed to hint that they feel this pistol is perfect for year around carry for anyone anywhere. I will definitely be giving this pistol a look at SHOT show. What are your impressions of this pistol?
