Ladies, we have come a long way for those who live, work or just play in a male dominated realm. For years we have been forced to wear the smallest men’s sizes available, wrapping it around with a belt that always made those hideous ribbon gaps around our waist. The days of having no choice to wear men’s pants with no shape are now over with 5.11 tactical.

5.11 has come out with a female line with multiple styles in the pant department to fit all our shapes, and sizes with the durability, and comfort we need without having to compromise our style. However women’s tactical pants to have all those qualities aforementioned is still kind of new so you need a little patience when finding your right size. Once you do, you will be ecstatic on how well they fit, along with their quality.

I am fortunate enough to have a 5.11 store near me, and was able to try on every size in every style due to the mixed reviews about their sizing issue from their website, especially with the Cirrus pant.

First and foremost, unfortunately the size chart on their website is completely inaccurate, with bare minimum details.

The Cirrus Pant in particular falls right above your hip bone, their size chart is measured at the smallest part of the waist, well no wonder so many women has had such a hard time in finding their size.  After trying on multiple sizes I found that size 4 fit me to my liking, according to their chart I would’ve been a size 8.

Once I was able to find the proper size to fit my body, I have been in love with these pants. My Go to for any event. Due to the discreetness to their style you can go from the office, PTA meeting straight to the range.  The modern cut of this design truly makes it versatile for any busy body.  I hope this review along with my accurate measurements help you in find your proper size.

• Fabric catches every lint and or pet hair, if that bothers you gray would be a better choice, however it gets better with each wash and wear.
