In May ’23, we hit the road in the Hidden Valley Bushcraft Landy to meet Billy MacLeod MBE, the heart and soul behind Veterans In Action (VIA). With a blend of positivity, emotion, and Nick’s usual brand of humour, we spent the day digging a little deeper into the incredibly valuable work being done by Billy to transform the lives of veterans for the better. VIA, is a charity that thrives on respect, honesty, openness, integrity, loyalty, and commitment. Their clear mantra of ‘helping ourselves by helping others’ resonates throughout their work.

Since its conception in 2008, VIA has been on an exciting growth journey, always pushing to exceed expectations and become a leader in veteran support. They engage veterans in long-term projects and adventurous activities, creating a safe haven for growth and positivity. Amid the laughter and heartwarming stories, witness a practical transformation as the VIA team installs a new roof rack on the Landy; a simple upgrade symbolising the broader transformations that both Nick & Billy inspire every day.

If this video touched your heart and resonated, please consider supporting VIA to continue their life changing work. Every bit of help pushes their mission forward, giving more veterans the chance to transform their lives. Enjoy the ride and keeping that positivity rolling.
