question_liberal_authority_poster-r604b78039ef64f5fae76814797acd823_wv4_8byvr_324Sadly, we live in a world where feelings outweigh logic. Critical reflection and discussing the significance of something to determine truth have been replaced with obfuscation.  The progressive media sits around table tops and continues to promote their regurgitated nonsense to the American public.

A smart crowd will not let any political reporter or pundit try and change their mind about a candidate or an issue. Rather, they will pay attention to what transpires on television, what plays out in real-life, and in turn make the right decision when it comes time to vote.

For the progressive media, the goal in today’s debates isn’t to help the public find the best candidate for President of the United States, rather it is to undermine these candidate’s credibility in order to make their own potential Democratic nominee more attractive to the public. We saw much of this happening during the live debates on television over the past few weeks. Objective news is out the door.

On Sunday night Washington Post columnist David Ignatius spoke on CBS’s “Face the Nation”. The subject was on how the Republican presidential candidates complained about the CNBC debate. Ignatius stated, “I can’t imagine it’s going to be effective with the electorate as whole that people are looking for someone who can be commander in chief and that’s not the person who whines about media coverage.” His downplaying of the clearly biased moderators not only shows his ignorance on what is fair debate but also displays his bias on the matter.

The clip of President Obama’s mockery of the GOP candidates complaints is here to see.

Ignatius said, “I thought it was a great line. And I thought there some was truth to it. The Republican debate may have been a disaster for the media asking the questions, but I didn’t think the Republican candidates came out very well. And all the squabbling, unfair, the media’s so mean, they’re asking nasty questions. I think that makes Republican candidates it diminishes them. And if they stay on that, it may work with some Republican primary base voters, but I can’t imagine it’s going to be effective with the electorate as whole that people are looking for someone who can be commander-in-chief and that’s not the person who whines about media coverage.”

Let’s be very clear here. When is mockery ever something that a commander-in-chief should use when discussing his rivals? Shouldn’t a commander-in-chief have a certain elan, class, and gravitas? Shouldn’t the President be a person whose abilities elicits such great respect from the American public that having to regal an audience on how much ability he has isn’t ever necessary? His actions would do all the talking.

And if not, then shouldn’t Obama the commander-in-chief at least try to be more tactful, and at least give the appearance that he isn’t whiner? Instead he too is guilty of complaining about the media. Let’s be clear here. Complaining about the media when it presents facts is different than complaining about a media that is manipulating facts.

But it doesn’t matter because he is on his way out in 2016 even though in 2008 and 2012 he was feted by a sycophantic press before he became commander-in-chief.  Questions and answers about Obama’s relationship with Bill Ayers and admitted communist Frank Marshall Davis died down quickly and was never brought to the fore ever again. He was given many free passes; far too many to list here. Those who disagree should clearly ask themselves, “what is my honest agenda?” Disregard the political pundits, the pseudo journalists and the pretend moderators. Ensure you get the facts straight. The public needs to be very discerning when it comes to the press otherwise they may be fooled into thinking they are being told the truth.

President Obama has complained many times about how dishonest Fox news is towards him. Well, let’s disregard Fox for a minute because Breitbart too has covered down on some of the lies he’s told. The Republicans are not complaining because they are whiners. They are complaining because they are asking for fair terms for everyone. This should apply for Clinton and Sanders but it hasn’t.

The media continually diminishes the conservative politicians rightful claims for a real forum to discuss their issues. Ignatius tries to make it seem that the candidates are whiny children who proclaim the media is, “so mean, they’re asking nasty questions.” No sir. Their claims have merit. Denigrating a candidate is a cheap way of avoiding the argument at hand. You can dress up a reporter in an expensive suit but it doesn’t make a claim more true.

We do not have leaders in the White House. We have few honest journalists working in corporate news. No wonder why its a free for all. Those who are in charge of running this nation and of reporting the truth have pushed the scales out of balance. It’s time to right them. Examining both our own arguments and those of others is an excellent way of sharpening our thinking, and to determine who we need for 2016.
