LA Police Gear 42″ Rifle Case Rifle Case is the perfect size for the RPK or any other long gun. Outer pockets hold three rifle magazines and the big side pockets will hold a 75 round drum. More than just another case, this bag is loaded with features and retails at $49.99.

It is the perfect size for full sized rifles and shotguns. LAPG also makes a 36″ case if you want a tight fit on a smaller gun but I prefer the big case because I have more options. It will hold most every rifle I have, even with a supressor mounted.

My RPK, Daria, is a post 86 Dealer’s Sample. That means it is select fire. She is pretty special a deserves a rugged and padded case. She also needs magazines and a few tools. LA Police gear does not disappoint.

If you are carrying loaded mags and tools, the case gets heavy fast. LAPG has you covered. The bag and zippers are tough and the internal supports hold the gun in place. Need to move from one firing point to another? Stowable backpack straps will quickly convert it to a pack.

A clamshell pocket on the left side provides internal organization, perfect for holding smaller items like pens, sight adjustment tools, cleaning kit and other range essentials. There is a mesh pocket so you can see what’s in there.

There is a 14″ x 12″ zippered pocket on the right that is a perfect fit for a 75 round drum.

The front of the case has a MOLLE web platform. It comes with three double rifle magazine pouches and you can add MOLLE pouches or accessories.

If you buy these for the whole team or you get more than one, it can get a little confusing. There is a 3″ x 3″ Loop Panel on the front to attach patches or name tags. On the back of the case there is a clear ID window. You can put a card, your ID number or a morale patch for easy identification.
