If you have followed Spotter Up for a minute, you probably know that we have done several reviews on Elite Survival Systems (ESS) products.  Personally, I have several reasons for loyalty to the company.  The products are US made, cost efficient and the customer service is top notch.  Ever since meeting the crew at a SHOT Show years ago, I have used their gear on a regular basis.  I have beating their pack on a daily basis for years, and it holds up like tank.  There are few things better in working apiece of gear, thank knowing it will not fail you.

It made perfect sense that when I needed a rifle case for a new bolt gun, I reached out to them.  One of the key reasons for this, is because I could not find a basic rifle case anywhere I looked.  Of course, many manufacturers offer a soft case which would work, but I wanted a solid case with no frills.  No MOLLE, no extra pockets, drag straps, shooting mats or whatever.  Also, I had a small requirement that it would be made in the USA.

While ESS offers a variety of rifle carry cases, both discreet, tactical and all purpose, the RC Series Elite Scoped Rifle Case was a perfect fit.   The case comes in lengths of 45, 48, 58 and 64 inches, which accommodates a variety of platforms and needs of most long range shooters.  The nylon case is padded, offering a perfect level of protection for the weapon and optic.  The fit of my tested rifle was perfect, with no free play of rifle when slung, or carried. The spare angles offered by available room within the case allowed ample space for a bipod, a cleaning kit and s small IFAK.  The light tan in color interior is not only clean and aesthetically appealing, and offers better visibility for accessing items in low light.

The scoped rifle case offer two perfect exterior pockets, open and zippered, ideal for small tools, ammunition or snacks.  A two link .50 caliber rounds were used in the above photo for reference.  The case has a carry handle, one for each zippered side of the case, with a hook and loop wrap for a comfortable carry.  As stated, this case is for basic safe transportation of a scoped rifle, with the knowledge that once you arrive at the destination you will likely transport the weapon on its own.  A such, this particular case does not have shoulder straps.  If you have a specific need to sling a cased rifle, I would suggest looking at ESS other rifle cases , discreet carry options and tactical rifle cases.

As most cool products, the Scoped Rifle Case comes only in black.  At $65.95 and a lifetime warrant, this is a a super value.  If you take advantage of this weekend Labor Day deal, you can save some serious cash on this, and many other ESS products.

For quality, functionality, materials, value and appearance, the ESS Scoped Rifle Case gets 5 out of 5 stars for me.
