What we learn as children we can unlearn as adults. Even in darkness we must believe there is light. We can unlearn certain things, perhaps we can’t unlearn it all, but we can reprogram our mind and in turn re-engineer our spirit.

I believe that and I know it because I’ve lived it. There is a light out there that should never go out and it’s a light inside ourselves that points the way for others. That’s not cliche to me. We’ve all got scars from where we’ve been and depending on how deep we shouldn’t be afraid of a thing. Each is a badge of honor for what you have survived, and each tells your story of warfare in this world.

Don’t let the light ever go out, in your world or someone else’s, be the hunter of good things and the beacon to the weak. Share the fire. If not us than who? You live what, 50-60-70 years, have something to show for it… a legacy. What else are we here for then?
