This is a good looking shoe! The Foley Mid is a nice looking mid-high sneaker reminiscent of the old Vans skate shoes so popular in the 80s and 90s and beyond. These shoes are designed to seamlessly blend with casual attire, making it an excellent choice for low-profile operations or everyday wear. It is crafted with a ballistic nylon upper for lightweight and maximum durability, and Hexgrip Vibram full-rubber outsole for traction and durability on multiple surfaces. This sneaker boasts remarkable durability and resistance to wear and tear. Comfort is a top priority, thanks to the nylon uppers.
FUNCTION
The shoes use a practical nylon fabric loop heel tab/bootstrap, and a well-padded collar and heel enhance overall comfort. The sneaker’s six pairs of reinforced eyelets provide secure lacing. The Foley Mid delivers exceptional all-around performance, to the Vibram outsole for enhanced traction across all environments.
OUTSOLE
The outsole uses a hexagonal lug pattern and Vibram proprietary XS Trek™ rubber compound. XS Trek, which contains 5% recycled rubber, offers flexibility, wet traction, durability, stability, comfort, and responsiveness on uneven terrain. This non-marking outsole is suitable for indoor and boat use, striking an ideal balance between traction and durability. It also resists abrasion, oil, and water, making it perfect for challenging environments and demanding missions.
FOOTBED
Similar to the 5.11 McClane, the Foley’s uses a new drop-in Ortholite X-40 footbed which provides superior cushioning and comfort, complete with arch support. Ortholite X-40, known for its high-rebound performance, offers over 40% elasticity, ensuring maximum shock absorption. This breathable material also prevents odor and fungus growth, retains its shape and performance over time, and supports your feet effectively. Furthermore, the removable and washable insole keeps your sneakers fresh and hygienic.
The Foley Mid excels in comfort and support, even during extended wear, thanks to its precise fit and mid-top design, providing both ankle support and agility. The roomy toe box ensures comfort and foot health, preventing issues like blisters or ingrown toenails. The shoe comes in sizes 9 11 12 and 13. it only comes in color black. Please note that sizes and fit may vary due to the unique shape of each brand’s last and individual differences in foot shape. All new shoes, sneakers, and boots require a breaking-in period to adapt to your feet’s contours.
