Here is a look at the Strato jacket that I saw at the ADS show in Arlington at the Westin Hotel. Retail is $443.93.:

Massif® built our first low loft thermal layer to deliver enough insulation to keep the toughest working soldiers warm while maintaining hyper breathability to eliminate overheating. The Strato is fully reversible with one OCP side and one black side allowing it to provide cover day and night alike. We built hand pockets into both the OCP and black sides so soldiers can store and access essential kit items no matter what time of the day or night. When not in use, the Strato can be easily stuffed into its hand pocket and has a drawstring closure that keeps it secure when not deployed. The Strato is insulated with top of the line synthetic Primaloft® Gold, which delivers a best in class warmth to weight ratio, still retains loft when wet, and allows heat and moisture to escape through the jacket. The athletic cut, articulated arms, and elastic cuffs make it quick and easy to layer over with an existing kit, even though its extreme versatility in challenging environments means soldiers probably won’t need to.

*Tip: Length Sizing for Tops

Long Massif tops generally feature an extra 1” of length than a Regular at the bottom hem and an extra 1.5” of sleeve length.

Short tops are generally 1” shorter than a Regular at the bottom hem and 1.5” shorter on the sleeve.

What that means to you: In general, if your sleeves are around your knuckles when your arms are down, or if you are constantly pushing your sleeves up, consider a Short. If you are sitting on your jacket when you sit down, that is also a good time to consider a Short. If your sleeves tend to sit above your wrists when your arms are down, consider a Long. When you raise your arms above your head if your stomach is showing, you should also consider a Long.

Please note: Since body proportions vary from person to person, and it is not unusual for someone to need a different length top than they need in a pants. In other words, if you require a top in Long that does not automatically translate to needing a Long pant.

All measurements are in centimeters. The measurements provided refer to body size, not to garment dimensions. Size up if you are between measurements – or size down if you prefer a tighter fit. Refer to the Measurement Guide for instructions on how to find your measurements.
