We want to provide information to those who want to be a bit more well rounded. Spotter Up looks at the five components of health that many in the health field generally recognize as areas people can work on to become well-balanced. Health professionals call it Emotional Health, Physical Health, Social Health, Intellectual Health and Spiritual Health.
We call it Heart (Team Room), Fist (Mission Critical), Circle (Networks), Spirit (Life) and Mind (Psyche).
FIST: MISSION CRITICAL
In FIST we are going to provide information on things that will help strengthen your physical base. It could be about Survival Fitness, Nutrition, Health, Gear or the latest in first aid information. We hope to provide good content on how to perform Olympic lifts, or how to knock a man out.
HEART: THE TEAM ROOM
In Heart we’re going to present information that will build up your emotional base. We will present movies that hit us in the gut like American Sniper or Saving Private Ryan. We will even look at card games or war games such as Iron Men and Wooden Ships, Jutland or Tobruk. We have a great section called Art, Photography and Literature; our goal is allow talented people (veterans and those currently serving) a platform to express themselves. We focus on those who Find a Way or Make a Way to inspire others by turning their military and whole life experiences into their craft, whether it be tattooing, sculptures or painting.
MIND: PSYCHE AND SUBSET IS MASTERY
In MIND we will try and give you information on Cooking outdoors, Camping, Shooting, Tactics and News, Intelligence and Opinions and what is going on in the world. We will also look at plenty of books and do our best to give you great book reviews.
CIRCLE: NETWORKS
In CIRCLE we will present Interviews with interesting people, like Delta Force operator Dale Comstock or veteran owned businesses like Nick Baucom of the successful Two Marines Moving to find out how they got started. We will look at Women in the Battle: this is our section devoted to female warfighters or the women who support their military friends and family. Circle is about your Social connections. As Spotter Up grows we will add a forum and continue to share info on how to become a better leader, friend, and servant. Lastly, we will put out information on non-profits that make a difference to serve veterans by providing Veteran programs; issues like Post Traumatic Stress, Couples Counseling or Financial Services.
SPIRIT: LIFE
One of the most important areas for Spotter Up. We will do our best to tell the stories of warfighters who are no longer with us. Our goal is to talk about how they died and also how they chose to live. We will present inspirational stories of those who served in combat or those who serve others in different ways. We will present information on museums, PTSD, people, or anything that just INSPIRES.
