If you’re looking for something that tastes clean and gives you energy then consider trying juice. This is a good drink if you want to get away from sodas or just because you want to increase your fruit and veggie intake. This drink also offers minerals and vitamins your body needs to function.

The ingredient list is simple. I made it with local, organic produce without pesticides. Your taste buds my vary so consider altering the amounts of either the ginger or apple to make the juice sweeter or more spicy.

Ingredients
(Makes 1 glass about 250 ml)

4 green apples, celery stalks (3-12 depending on the intensity of the celery taste you want), 1 cucumber, 1 lemon, a cup of kale, penny sized slice of fresh ginger.

Apples: Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants, flavanoids, and dietary fiber. Celery: Celery, which has the scientific name Apium graveolens, is a vegetable in the plant family called Apiaceae. The benefits of celery begin with it being an excellent source of antioxidants and beneficial enzymes, in addition to vitamins and minerals such as vitamin K, vitamin C, potassium, folate and vitamin B6.

Cucumber. Cucumbers are 96% water and they make the perfect juice veggie. They hydrate skin with valuable nutrients.  Cucumbers contain multiple B vitamins, including vitamin B1, vitamin B5, and vitamin B7 (biotin). B vitamins are known to help ease feelings of anxiety and buffer some of the damaging effects of stress. Cucumbers are rich in two of the most basic elements needed for healthy digestion: water and fiber.

Lemon:  include treatment of throat infections, indigestion, constipation, dental problems, fever, internal bleeding, rheumatism, burns, obesity, respiratory disorders, cholera and high blood pressure, while it also benefits your hair and skin

Kale: Kale is high in fiber and water content, both of which help to prevent constipation and promote regularity and a healthy digestive tract. It also contains vitamin, which promotes iron absorption, and B vitamins, which are essential for the release of energy from food.

Ginger root: Ginger has a long history of use for relieving digestive problems such as nausea, loss of appetite, motion sickness and pain. The root or underground stem (rhizome) of theginger plant can be consumed fresh, powdered, dried as a spice, in oil form or as juice.
