Once again politicians such as Obama, Clinton and Martin O’Malley are trying to infringe on our freedoms while ignoring some very serious issues in our nation. The media meanwhile is being very disingenuous by not using Islam, Jihad or Terror in their reporting or by declaring a motive. Some are cautiously stating the terror attack in San Bernardino could be an act of workplace violence.

The same politicians pushing for gun control in the wake of the shootings in California yesterday are the same politicians who desire armed security provided for their safety. Gun control will not keep us safe. Our society should never follow hypocritical leaders like them. They have politicized yesterday’s tragedy by pushing the conversation about gun control to the front of the room and so it can no longer be ignored. Here are some facts:

The FBI is conducting an intensive investigation and seeking a motive in the killings of 14 people in San Bernardino at the Inland Regional Services complex. Two suspects were identified as Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik.

Officials said Farook and Malik were dressed in assault style clothing and had assault rifles. Both suspects were pronounced dead at the scene after injuring 17 people and killing 14. Investigators have not ruled out a link with terrorism. At least two of the weapons the attackers used were obtained legally. Draw your own conclusions as to the nature of the shootings. Many from the media are reluctant to call it Jihad. Some are saying it is workplace violence prompted by a Christmas party the shooters may have found offensive. How can this be workplace violence if the wife never worked at the same office as her husband? Was she feeling disenfranchised, maligned or experience any form of verbal abuse by her husband’s coworkers?

Following the news of the attack on Inland Regional Services complex in San Bernardino, California, Fox News’s Geraldo Rivera tweeted that the “2nd Amendment is stupid” and asked Americans not to “rationalize” otherwise.

“Like I always say, the 2nd Amendment, the provision that gives every American the right to keep and bear arms, is blind and stupid. In its relentless pimping for the gun industry, the NRA has unleashed an avalanche of deadly weapons on this gun-crazy country. Just as protects access to weapons for cops and hunters, it also protects access to weapons for domestic abusers, mental patients, jerk-offs on the no-fly list, all-around dim bulbs, and now little children.”

President Obama went on CBS News to talk about gun control.

Democrat presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to call for more gun control even as authorities were still working to clear the Inland Regional Services complex and find the attackers.

Clinton tweeted, “I refuse to accept this as normal. We must take action to stop gun violence.”

Democrat presidential hopeful Martin O’Malley called for more gun control and tweeted, “Horrifying news out of San Bernardino. Enough is enough: it’s time to stand up to the NRA and enact meaningful gun safety laws.”

The only reasonable person of the group seemed to be GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina. She stated, “Without knowing any of the facts of what has happened there or why, President Obama and Hillary Clinton immediately came out and made a political statement for gun control,” She further stated, “Instead of Mrs. Clinton calling for more laws, why don’t we enforce the laws that we have and, as well, enforce the Second Amendment?”

Fiorina said the Second Amendment “gives to each citizen the right to bear arms.”

The Joint Terrorism Task Force is now involved because terrorism is suspected. Media first reported the attack as possible workplace violence and were reluctant to state it as Islamic killers. There are many questions to ask, few are asking them, and most are giving the politically correct answer. A blind person can draw the correct conclusion others dare not.

Why is everyone afraid to state the killers were of the Muslim faith and of an Islamic culture? Should we further examine gun control or should we look at the failure of multiculturalism? Should we look at multiculturalism or solely Islamic multiculturalism? Why are some reluctant to state this was an Islamic terrorist attack? The killers were obviously prepared with pipe bombs, weapons, armor and 1400 rounds of ammunition.

Multiculturalism as defined by Collins English Dictionary is “the policy of maintaining a diversity of ethnic cultures within a community,”

The U.S. is a nation of many races, ethnicities, religions and cultures. Large groups of Jewish, Chinese, Indian or Cuban immigrants have successfully fit into the fabric of America and they have learned English and American history and celebrated American traditions and values. These successful groups brought along their own culture and found a way to be productive citizens. They don’t go on terroristic attacks on the country and her citizens which allowed them to come here.

I want to be clear. I am not against foreigners. I am not against Muslims. There is a place for immigrants into our country, and there is a place for Muslims. We have friends who are Muslim. I am against unwise policies which allows foreigners to come into this country who do not have our own Western sentiments in mind.

Multiculturalism should be an inclusive, diverse society but those from Islamic countries seem to have the most difficult time integrating into our American national identity.

Multiculturalism isn’t something new created in a petri dish. It has been tried in Europe for more than 50 years. Workers coming into Europe from the Middle-East after WWII never conformed to European culture. Instead Europe capitulated and was fully accepting of the culture of these immigrants rather than insisting the cultures accepted Western culture.

There are adherents to Islam who find it particularly difficult to accept other cultures. Some Muslims feel their faith is being degraded by having to receive our own American way of life. Who is doing whom a favor? Those who are adverse in accepting our different values are very susceptible to becoming radicalized because they cannot come to terms with Western thinking. This allows them to be particularly critical of all things that are not within the realm of Islam or Muslim culture. The terror attacks on Western civilian populations should be the wake-up call for America but America is embracing a failed idea which is being pushed by a very progressive President who is supportive of multiculturalism and moral equivalency.

President Nicholas Sarkozy once said of multiculturalism. “The truth is that, in all our democracies, we’ve been too concerned about the identity of the new arrivals and not enough about the identity of the country receiving them. This raises the issue of Islam and our Muslim compatriots,” he said.

“Our Muslim compatriots should be able to live and practice their religion like anyone else … but it can only be a French Islam and not just an Islam in France.”

British Prime Minister David Cameron warned once that multiculturalism is directly contributing to homegrown Islamic terrorism and it fosters extremist ideology.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel declared that multiculturalism in Germany has “utterly failed.”

After the Charlie Hebdo shootings, newly elected French President Francois Hollande stated that Islam and democracy were compatible and that “it is Muslims who are the first victims of fanaticism, fundamentalism and intolerance” according to BBC. If only Hollande could stop having mental myopia. Months later Paris would be attacked by Muslim radicals and France finally retaliated by attacking ISIS targets in Syria. But France shouldn’t solely look outside her borders for the enemy. Britain, Canada, and any Western nation so welcoming of multiculturalism would be wise to consider their own nation as a place where terror plots are hatching. The threat is not coming from ‘that place over there.’ Many Islamic countries like to blame the West for disrupting peace in the world.

If only the United States and the West didn’t exist, then Islam could merrily exist, many like to proclaim. Let’s be very clear here. The United States is barely 300 years old. Islam has been at war with itself for almost 1500 years. After the death of Mohammed in 632, Abu Bakr the new Muslim caliph, set out on a bloody conquest to subjugate others through invasion and war. It continues to this very day.

The problem is not the fault of the West and instead it is a problem of moral relativism and progressives who like to posit that all cultures are equal.

Where are the brave Hollywood elites or politicians who are speaking out against the murder of people simply because they are homosexual, or forced genital mutilation, or the conquest of others in order to obtain slaves, or how about the brutal rape of women and children and rampant pedophilia among the ranks of Islamists? In fact those who like to live liberally, particularly those who go to Burning Man festivals, should try it in Islamic countries. So much for moral equivalency; they’ll find themselves tortured, raped, beheaded or hung because they live so liberally. What we know about many of the terrorists is they liked to lustfully frequent strips bars, do drugs and partake in Western forms of expression yet have been labeled devout Muslims.

President Obama continues to equivocate and use sophistry to compare Muslim radicals to those in the conservative right rather than attacking the root of the problem. We should not let those who refuse to integrate into our country. Why is our nation talking about gun control and taking away our means to defend ourselves? These kinds of terror attacks are becoming more frequent yet we are supposed to wait for the police to come and help.

France, like many Western European societies, conveniently finds it difficult to publicly acknowledge these facts. Millions of immigrants feel estranged from the cultural traditions and way of life of their homeland; this is a normal reaction. Those who are most successful learn how to accept the new culture while retaining their own. Those from the Middle-East and strong adherents to Islam who esteem themselves and their culture to be superior to everyone else is open to becoming radicalized. I believe that honor based cultures that are steeped in strict adherence to religion creates bigots that converts others by shaming or by the sword. Any culture that does that cannot be equal or superior to our culture. We are tolerant of others and respect all ways of life. So, what is a good culture?

No one wants to talk about the problems of multiculturalism, particular with Islam into Western culture. Politicians in this country want to talk about gun control. The police are in need of better weapons to fight terrorists and the President wants to limit guns. Most of America is against this despite what the media states. Over 2400 Russians have converted to radical Islam in order to fight against the West. Russia understands this threat to their Roman Orthodoxy. China understands as well, for they will not tolerate the intolerant who cannot immerse into Chinese culture.

The Parisian killers spoke perfect French and were homegrown.  The San Bernardino killers spoke English and immigrated. Either way, butchering a language doesn’t make you a killer, but following any kind of faith that fosters hatred makes your religion suspect. Personally, I believe I should follow Paul’s words of loving my enemies and praying for those who persecute me. But this doesn’t mean I stand by idealistically while my way of life is being destroyed. Either we allow every brilliant thing in this world to be extinguished, thereby by allowing their way of life to exist, or we must challenge it in order that ours never ceases. Life as we know it is quickly eroding.

Multiculturalism has not yet done the damage in the U.S. that it has in western European countries but it’s coming here by the thousands. Millions of Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Mormons, Jews and Muslims can find peace here. Those who are adherents to those major faiths and are from different cultures do not have to adopt our Western Judeo-Christian values. America does not expect them to. They only have to give respect to what others believe. To find the excellence of any culture or faith is to investigate whether it values life and acknowledges the supremacy of love over hate. But let’s be clear, if our politicians and nation doesn’t put some serious controls on reckless immigration, prudent immersion and respect for America then I say, “you can keep your multiculturalism, and I’ll keep my guns.”
