Lion and The Lamb Jesus Christ

The Lion and the Lamb

The Lion and the Lamb is more than a biblical image.

It is the reality of training, faith, and strength through Jesus Christ. Difficult training cuts through illusions.

Under pressure, whether in combatives, live rounds, or force-on-force, you cannot hide. You either endure and overcome, or you fold. The same truth applies to faith.

Weak Men and a Weak Church

Scripture tells us Jesus is both the Lamb of God and the Lion of Judah.

The Lamb represents mercy, sacrifice, and patience. The Lion represents judgment, authority, and power.

Most men only see themselves in the Lamb. As a result, they confuse passivity with humility, and they call their fear gentleness.

That is why the church has grown weak. Weak churches create weak men, and weak men cannot guard their families, their communities, or their faith.

Training Reveals the Balance

Men were never called to be lambs only. Jesus forgave sinners, yet He also overturned tables in the temple. He laid down His life, yet He also returns in judgment as King.

Therefore, the balance of Lion and Lamb is not optional. It is the fullness of Christ.

Training demonstrates this balance. On the mat, you endure pressure like the Lamb, and you apply pressure like the Lion.

You build patience through repetition, and you sharpen ferocity through resistance. In the same way, faith demands that men live out both mercy and strength.

Repentance and Restoration

Those who love God must hate evil. Repentance begins this process. Culture does not excuse weakness, and politics cannot justify it.

Instead, every man must face his own heart. He must repent, turn from sin, and proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord of Lords and King of Kings. He is the truth, the light, and the way.

Seek salvation through the Lion and the Lamb. Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ. Embrace Him publicly and personally. Train hard to carry both the gentleness of the Lamb and the strength of the Lion.

For this reason, you can serve with mercy and also fight with strength.

Anything less is a compromise, and compromise feeds the evil that God has called us to resist.
