The Infinity X1 line is a family of high‑output, dual‑power flashlights known for extreme brightness, hybrid battery systems, and rugged aluminum construction. The most common models—especially the 5,000‑lumen and 7,000‑lumen versions—are designed for outdoor, emergency, and utility use, and are widely sold through various retailers.

Overview

Infinity X1 7,000‑lumen Dual Power Rechargeable Flashlight emphasizes brightness, durability, and a hybrid power system.  It measures 12.4 inches long and weighs 1.5 pounds.

The Infiniti X1 7000 lumen light has a massive CREE LED. Note the slightly crenelated bezel.

Key features include:

  • Brightness: 7,000 lumens (Giant CREE LED)
  • Adjustable focus
  • Four programmable modes: High, Medium, Low, Strobe
  • Dual‑power system (Rechargeable battery cartridge, backup cartridge with 9× AA batteries)
  • Dual USB‑C ports to charge the flashlight or power external devices
  • Water-resistant aluminum body

Hybrid Power System

The Infinity X1 7,000‑lumen uses hybrid power, meaning the light runs on the rechargeable core and if that dies, a quick swap to AA batteries gets the light back in action.  The rechargeable core doubles as a power bank for phones or other USB C rechargeable items.

Safety Features

The Heat Lock system is a safety feature that reduces output to low when the beam reflects strongly off nearby surfaces. It prevents overheating or damage when the light is pointed at something close and reflective. Caution, it might not activate on some surfaces like transparent surfaces.  The Infiniti X1 7,000‑lumen is also equipped with a sliding power lock switch that prevents battery drain as well as inadvertent activation.

Focus

The focus can be adjusted by sliding the lens bell forward.  It’s a bit stiff the first time, it takes a little extra to pull it forward,  but then it adjusts easily.  It doesn’t have a pin-point focus.  Adjusting the lens can reduce the angle slightly, but the wide/flood style beam is where this light really…shines.

Infinity X1 7000 lumen in its tightest focus. It’s not a “pinpoint” light, but it does concentrate more lumens in a narrower area. The hotspot has a fairly sharp definition from spill even in this mode.
The Infinity X1 7000 lumen in flood mode. The hotspot has a very sharp edge in this mode with very little spill. This is great for lighting up large areas evenly like yards and warehouses.

I’ve been using this light for a few weeks every night to take my dogs outside. It’s only had one charge and it has held up great.  The adjustable power button is nice.  There is a bright mode that saves power and a REALLY bright mode that is a little more drain on the batteries, but turns the night into day.

It’s not a tiny light, but for lighting up large areas, this light does a nice job.  The large battery pack means long service life and a backup USB-C charger for electronics.  The lockout switch prevents inadvertent activation, and the AA battery backup option adds versatility.  This would be a great companion light for off-road vehicles and boats.   It has just the right amount of heft, and it is built durably.

Other Details

The Infinity X1 7,000‑lumen has a color coded power indicator light on the button array.  It is IPX4 rated – suitable for rain or spashes but not intended to be submerged.  It is shock resistant to 1 meter.  Replacement rechargable batteries are available on the Infiniti website, and registering your flashlight gets you a 50% discount on an extra battery and a lifetime warranty (as opposed to the 1 year warranty on unregistered products).
