“Black Hawk Down” (2001): Although not a Delta Force-centric movie, Ridley Scott’s “Black Hawk Down” is a remarkable portrayal of the U.S. Army’s involvement in the Battle of Mogadishu, Somalia. The Delta Force plays a pivotal role in the operation, providing crucial support to the Rangers and Special Operations forces. This intense war film depicts the relentless battle against overwhelming odds and showcases the exceptional bravery and resilience of the Delta Force soldiers. WORST

Delta Force Commando” (1988): Directed by Pierluigi Ciriaci, this low-budget Italian film attempts to capitalize on the popularity of the Delta Force franchise. However, it falls flat with its weak plot and subpar production quality. The film focuses on a Delta Force team sent to rescue an American ambassador’s daughter from terrorists in the Middle East. Unfortunately, the film suffers from wooden acting, poor dialogue, and lackluster action sequences, making it a forgettable entry in the Delta Force movie universe.

Operation Delta Force” series (1997-1999): While the title may suggest a connection to the real Delta Force, the “Operation Delta Force” film series fails to deliver an authentic portrayal of the elite special forces. Consisting of five movies directed by various filmmakers, these low-budget action flicks rely on formulaic plots, one-dimensional characters, and exaggerated action scenes. The films lack the depth and realism that audiences expect from Delta Force movies, resulting in a disappointing experience for viewers.

Delta Force One: The Lost Patrol” (1999): Directed by Joseph Zito, this film falls short in capturing the essence of the Delta Force. Starring Gary Daniels as a Delta Force captain leading a team on a mission, the movie suffers from a convoluted plot, wooden acting, and subpar production values. The action sequences lack the intensity and precision that one would associate with the elite special forces, leading to a lackluster and forgettable film.

Delta Force: Operation Stranglehold” (2000): Another entry in the Delta Force movie lineup that fails to live up to expectations, “Delta Force: Operation Stranglehold” is a low-budget action film directed by Yossi Wein. The movie attempts to showcase the Delta Force’s operations against a terrorist organization, but it falls victim to weak storytelling, amateurish performances, and poorly choreographed action sequences. The film fails to create the tension and excitement one would hope for, ultimately leaving audiences disappointed.

Delta Force 3: The Killing Game” (1991): In this sequel directed by Sam Firstenberg, the Delta Force franchise takes a nosedive. The movie follows a group of Delta Force soldiers fighting against a drug cartel, but it lacks the authenticity and gripping storytelling of its predecessors. With uninspiring performances, lackluster action, and a disjointed narrative, “Delta Force 3: The Killing Game” fails to capture the essence of what makes the Delta Force movies compelling.
