IMG_5388With all the write-ups on being self-sustaining humans in times of extremis conditions, I thought a few photos on some of my own kit would be helpful for those that believe a revolution may be coming. If the sh** hits the fan then I refuse to be a victim. In my opinion, going on the offense when everyone else is retreating works well. These are just a few of the items that are better to have and not need, then to need and not have.

Here are a few photos of my own personal protective kit which also serves as my assault gear (when the time comes). This kit has served me through tours in Bosnia, Afgh, Pak, Iraq (concealed and overt missions) and other hot spots. There is far more to my kit not shown here e.g. water supply, weapons, ammo, knives, crap buckets with sealable bags, MRE’s and other pre-packaged nutrient dense foods, light sources (IR, red, and white), a good ol’ Army E-tool, lensatic & Silva Ranger compass, fuel sources, batteries, battery-powered push-2-talk comms, various signaling devices, riggers tape, plastic sheets, basic mechanics tools, and the list goes on.

Fitness to handle any long haul, yup, we’ve got that too! What I have not included are the weapons and ammo and other items I consider sensitive. However, there is more than enough information on Spotter Up and all over the net to give you an idea of what is in the safe.IMG_5389

Many ask, “well what about your wife and kids?” I’ve “dialed them in” enough and they are schooled in the art of street smarts, use of the above listed items, and know when to rally when the ball goes up. CommSec, phonetics, brevity codes, and secret handshakes are practiced on a regular basis, so we have no worries.

Best case scenario, we make it through this disastrous administration and the next has the best interest of the American people at heart, and our kit is bagged and tagged for the future.IMG_5390
