It would seem that 2018 is the year that IWI is boldly getting into the combat shotgun market with their new Tavor TS-12. This shotgun is semi-automatic, and it has 3 rotating 5 shot magazines with an adjustable gas system for low and high brass ammo. Before you make a judgement on its’ looks and size, let me just say I judged it harshly as well. Big mistake to judge this shotgun harshly until you handle it. It does not feel the way it looks.

I did not get a chance to shoot the shotgun, so I would have to leave it to one of our other writers to comment on how it shoots. The one thing I can testify to is that it looks bigger than it truly is. Here are some pictures just for some simple comparison with an X-95. You will notice that the TS-12 is actually the same length and height, and THINNER. Also, it only weighs 8 pounds whereas the pump shotgun DP-12 weight damn near 10 pounds. I would say that the TS-12 has it beat. Less weight and more going for it.
I am sure that IWI will sell lots of these once they hit the market. I think this may be the only high capacity shotgun on the market that actually has me excited. Well played, IWI. I look forward to seeing how this thing pans out once it is released to the market.
