bond arms

Bond Arms is now producing the Bullpup pistol and taking on the old Boberg pistol design. The original Boberg pistols apparently had issues that Bond Arms has managed to iron out before declaring the pistol fit for production under their own name. I have always liked bullpups, since I was a little kid. Something about them was just sexy and fun. When I first heard of the Boberg bullpup pistols, I was intrigued, only to find out that they went out of business. Luckily Bond Arms decided to take the design and start seriously producing them. I think this pistol is quite ingenious and daring. I say it is daring, because it is using a design that is unknown and somewhat complex for people that are not mechanically savvy. The design from my perspective, is simple and robust.

Bond Arms is mainly known for their Derringer pistols, but now they have taken on the task of making producing the rare Boberg bullpup pistol design. They seem to be a legit company that is serious about making quality firearms that will stand the test of time. We shall see how the pistols sell in 2018, but I think this was a good choice for Bond Arms to take on this design and step outside of the Derringer world a tad. If all goes well, we will be seeing a longer version of this bullpup pistol in coming years.
