Indian Motorcycle has introduced the new Indian Scout Bobber to its line-up. It is a cosmetic update to the standard Scout, which the company calls a ‘stripped-down version.’ The bike will be available on sale in the US from September at a starting price of $11,999.

The new Bobber, due in U.S. and Canadian dealerships in September, is powered by the same 69-cubic-inch, 100 horsepower V-twin engine as the Scouts.

The new Scout Bobber is available in five colors, Thunder Black, Bronze Smoke, Star Silver Smoke, and Indian Motorcycle Red for the standard models while the ABS model gets the matte-black Thunder Black Smoke paint.

The handlebars and foot pegs are closer to the rider, Indian said, than on the Scout. It features “knobby” tires, a blacked-out headlight nacelle, exhaust system and wheels, bar-end mirrors, chopped front and rear fenders, a special leather seat and other styling details meant to give it the “custom” look being successfully marketed by Harley-Davidson, Triumph, Ducati, Honda, Yamaha and others.

Could you imagine one painted like the Scout in the image below?
