The Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Annual Threat Assessment, often referred to as the “ATA”, is a comprehensive report that provides an unclassified summary of the U.S. Intelligence Community’s evaluation of current threats to U.S. national security. The report reflects the collective insights of the Intelligence Community and is committed to providing nuanced, independent, and unvarnished intelligence that policymakers, warfighters, and domestic law enforcement personnel need to protect American lives and America’s interests anywhere in the world. The assessment covers a wide range of issues including cyber and technological threats, terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, crime, environmental and natural resources issues, and economic issues.
