CBS is adding a few dramas to its line-up this fall and one of them is about Navy SEALs. Those who like military dramas were given the treat of watching the series called Six. Six is also an American television drama series that chronicles the operations and daily lives of SEALs who are part of the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), more commonly known as SEAL Team Six.
According to sites like Wikipedia and Variety magazine Joe Manganiello was originally cast as main character Rip Taggart but left the series in April 2016 “due to a ‘manageable’ preexisting health issue”. The actor Walton Goggins was cast as his replacement.
SEAL Team, is joining night-time entertainment on television. The show will air Wednesdays at 9/8c, and stars David Boreanaz as the leader of an elite team of Navy SEALs who execute dangerous missions. Boreanaz will play Jason, the leader of an assault team who’s been through over a dozen deployments. The drama also stars Bates Motel’s Max Thieriot.
Boreanaz once starred in Bones and Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff Angel. The great Jim Caviezel, of the movie the Thin Red Line and TV show a Person of Interest, was originally slated for the role. Caviezel, who has a long history with CBS as the star of the long-running crime drama series Person Of Interest, parted ways with the network and the Navy SEAL pilot’s producer CBS TV Studios over creative differences.
The show is about Navy SEALs that plan, train and execute dangerous missions.
