Early one morning we went hard and fast into the woods where the streams crossed and then turned into a confluence of rivers. We felt that we had nothing but time to kill and so we ran and ran, our hearts racing with the same moving power of that blue life giving water and we never looked back. As my confidence grew bolder it occurred to me as we snaked along the edges of the water that my life as a boy was coming back into my life as a man. The thought that went through my old mind was, “welcome to the beginning of your new life.” I kept running and running and vowed that I’d never look back. MOVE FORWARD
