Weekend is here. Put down the toys and do something that exercises your mind. Write a poem, play a board game, read a book, have a real conversation about important things, and reflect. I write a lot of poems or quick posts via stream of consciousness and don’t always get the chance to edit. Get something on paper. Just do it. Good bad whatever just write. Use that mental muscle. “Pull yourself into my affection and come into the protection of my silent love. Each day past these distant agendas which keeps us halted in loving like lovers on separate verandas, we cannot see but we are not voiceless. This silent love, this silent love…grows; my voice explodes when I sing to you, louder than any bomb. ” by Michael Kurcina
