Pull-ups are one of those exercises that must be practiced often but without good form you might as well not be doing them at all. The focus should be on perfect form every rep on all these exercises and you will see the results you want.

Lots of people can kip a pull up and those have their place in the fitness world but if you can’t do strict form pull ups, well, you should be working on getting there. Using the assisted pull up machine will not help you. If you want to increase your count, a good way is to begin a back and shoulder strengthening program.

  • 2,4,6,8,10,8,6,4,2 reverse grip

  • 2,4,6,8,10,8,6,4,2 towel pull-ups
