Don’t be a dumbass today. Connect. “To see someone you love release their pain from their eyes isn’t as if those rivulets of moisture are magnificent tears more precious than diamonds, no, in fact they are worth more. They are worth more than all of the stars in the sky, more than that sad, drunk moon above, worth more then a thousand universes for we only get one chance to make it right in each second. We only get one chance to make a change before a change is pushed upon us. That moment will be gone. Time that ever elusive thing we want so much more of eludes us when we live in it, but if we consciously decide to exist we can experience it deeply even while it flows away. The tears from the danger, the anger, the confusion they felt is released and we are party to something electric, something powerful if we can allow ourselves to connect with our lover’s experience. Connections takes time, takes work, takes sensibility. Drop what you are doing, observe, and even if you don’t comprehend a thing at least in that moment when those magnificent tears are dropping reach out and touch them; the connection might bring a bit of peace to an injured heart. You live for millions of seconds at least make one of those seconds count between you and her when she falls apart.”
