The 25 L Commuter bag by Mirr is a water resistant pack built for both function and style.   It features, Bombproof 630D nylon with DWR (durable water repellent) finish, polyurethane inner coating for increased water resistance, water resistant PU coated zippers, quick access top zipper, bike light loop, 15″ padded laptop pocket and MiiR GiiR loops.

Besides looking sleek and stylish this pack is a super versatile piece of equipment.  It features an easy roll top just like a dry bag but also has a zipper in the back for easy access to the main compartment, and laptop compartment.  This basically allows you to customize the size of the pack depending on the amount of equipment you are carrying, which is awesome because this bag is HUGE compared to a standard backpack when you fill it to its max capacity.

The open top and the shape also makes it easy for carrying larger items or packing for several days which makes it a great travel bag as well.  With its inner coating as well as PU coated zippers this bag is super water resistant! I wouldn’t go swimming in it but it will keep your work clothes and electronics dry on a rainy commute no problem.

It is lacking a few features such as a waist strap to help distribute weight and breathability in the back that would keep me from making this my top choice for a long day in the saddle or as a heavy hauler for a day of adventure in the mountains but that is not the true aim of this pack to begin with and it can still fit the bill if you decide to sneak in an after work mini adventure or get some time off on a business trip.

Ergonomically shaped and padded shoulder straps allow it to comfortably carry decently heavy loads for a moderate amount of time (especially in a forward leaning riding position) and breathable panels in the back would detract from the packs water resistant ability.

A few added conveniences that can be accessed without taking the bag completely off, like a zippered stealth pocket on the side that can carry your bike tools, a secure zippered pocket for your phone or wallet, and a side zip to access you laptop compartment make this an easy sell to the daily commuter or constant traveler.

As a parent with two small kids I will also note these features are amazing when you are just out for the day and are short a hand! On top of this 5% of the $159 you pay for this pack (or any of their products) goes to their Active Giving Project which can be tracked through their website and helps fund projects in the US and around the world.

Overall I am super pleased with this pack.  It fits my lifestyle by being able to carry just about anything I need and handle just about any conditions you throw at it, while maintain both style and convenience.
