“Thunder that makes some men meek is often providence to the brave.”~Michael Kurcina Sometimes we dream so vividly only to wake in tears when we realize none of it was real. The person we loved in life is still gone and no amount of dreaming seems to stitch together the open wound in our heart caused by that loss. Perhaps we lost something else, something that makes the soul hurt deeply. We wake in the dark. Thunder and lighting break open the night. We rise in our bed and go to the window and wonder. There is a good life waiting where we stand and not through the rain that cuts the wind that wanders. We must stop fatally believing that nothing good ever comes out of storms. Do not be afraid. Sometimes the next meaning and purpose of your life reveals itself to you. Trust in the coming protection and care. Watch the lightning, hear the thunder and wait… the answer will come. Be strong, do not be meek, be brave.
