The Tandemkross HIVE Grip is a MUST HAVE for the Smith & Wesson 22 Victory pistol.
After shooting the Smith & Wesson 22 Victory at Rim Fire competitions for the last 10 months I can confidently say the TK “HIVE” Grip is well worth it at $39.99
I’ve been eagerly awaiting the HIVE Grip ever since Danielle at TK did some demo videos from ShotShow17.
The Tandemkross HIVE Grip is my top choice is because it’s the only grip on the SW22 Victory market I would use for USPSA/NSSF/or any other speed shooting.
The factory SW22 Victory grip is TINY, especially for man hands! The HIVE grip adds just enough additional bulk to support a solid grasp of the pistol while acquiring and transitioning between targets. I believe that most female shooters as well as young shooters would easily prefer this ergonomic HIVE Grip over the factory polymer panels. Check out the comparison below.
The HIVE Grip has an awesome texture and the perfect level of firmness/stability for a rubber-like grip. If you’ve felt the factory SW22 grip panels you will love the difference!
I initially purchased the SW22 Volquartsen wood grip as it was the only grip available on the market in early 2017. The Volquartsen grip was just too over-sized for the shooting style I’m interested in. The Volquartsen is an awesome grip for stationary target shooting but it also comes with a price tag of $150.

CONs
Many shooters don’t prefer finger groves – These are minimal on the HIVE and wide enough for grown man hands so it’s just fine for me.
The price could be considered a little high for a rubber grip, but I would easily pay it for the quality of design and fit.
Tandemkross has made a serious impact on my Rim Fire speed shooting performance. When you feel like you’re close to hitting a wall on your core competencies, the aftermarket components through Tandemkross can really help raise your standard. TK offers a large variety of frame and muzzle components for the SW22.
Overall, if you have a SW22 Victory, I’ll say GO BUY THE HIVE! For $39 bucks you can land yourself an extremely comfortable component that will further enable your target acquisition and shot transitions through a more confident and consistent grip.
