Elite Survival Systems makes a variety of tactical nylon rifle cases.  While some are the traditional rifle-case shape, a few of their products are a bit more low-profile.  “Case” in point (see what I did there?), the Assault Systems Double Agent.   At 43″ long, it can hold 2 M-16 A2’s or even 2 Mk12’s with cans attached.

The Double Agent Case is constructed of 1000 denier nylon with heavy-duty zippers and hardware, wrap-around handles. and is padded with heavy 1/2″ closed cell foam panels. There is an internal padded divider to keep guns from banging into each other, and hook-and-loop straps to hold things in place.  The case is tall enough to accept optic-equipped carbines.

I recently used the Double Agent Case to cart my gear on a trip to Thunder Ranch in Lakeview, Oregon. While I normally favor hard-cases for long road trips, the Double Agent Case is lighter-weight to carry and protected the rifles well.

For just over $200 (as of August 2022), the Double Agent Case is priced very reasonably for a well-made way to protect and transport your investment.
