Sometimes I write in order to express pain. I don’t always know what I want to say but the message I want to convey is to speak my truth from my injury, to share a story about my loss, and a hope that someone’s life was changed by reading it. I am a functionalist by will and force but in my idealistic mind I am a romantic who believes in the brotherhood of man.

“In loss let us be filled
In fullness let us be emptied
In hatred let us be loved
In love let us give love
In life let us remember
In death let us be remembered”
