Spotter Up is and will always be about spotting solutions to problems. When it comes to fitness it doesn’t matter if you have a gym membership or not, there are ways to get a workout, and we don’t make excuses. Do dips on a park bench. Do pull ups from a tree. Do lunges with a log on your back. Today was a miserable day for me but I got my workout in and you know what? I felt a whole lot better after it was done. Sometimes I can’t get to the gym but knocking a workout like this out in a parking lot gives me the stresses on the muscles that I need, and I still have time left over to kill.
In this short video, I’m demonstrating how to pull an SUV with a garden hose. Doing this basic workout in a parking lot will allow you to tax your entire shoulder girdle and your arms will be “smoked!”
This is a good way to get a good lat workout. And when you finally pull the vehicle to you, stand up, and begin to get your leg workout in by pushing the vehicle back into place. Do the reps you want. Easy day? No, it sucked, but you’ll be a better man for it.
