Ive been wearing the MILCAM pants from Kroko Tactical for a couple months now, and they have become my go-to range pants and for any outdoor activities. The pants are very close to the US Military OCP trousers in style and function, being designed initially for the Portuguese military, they have the durability and ruggedness required for active duty military pants, with one or two additional features that aren’t found on the US versions.

A quick summary of Kroko Tactical from their website:

“RESEARCH. INNOVATE. DEVELOP. ENHANCE. This has been our RIDE since 1961, when KROKO was founded and started as a hi-end leather goods producer. Then our troops were called upon to defend our country. Those where the ’90s; we developed our first camouflage pattern, started to produce professional military and law enforcement equipment and supplied our men and woman in the field. Today, we serve Croatian Armed Forces, Croatian police and the WORLD for over 25 years, manufacturing more than 300 of our own product designs, developing and offering new solutions of apparel, tactical and ballistic equipment, camouflage patterns, backpacks, holsters, belts and other specialized equipment – changing the way the soldier looks and operates.”

The camoflage pattern on these pants is about as close to Multicam as you can get without it actually being MC, this one seems to have a slightly higher amount of darker color in it. The Pants have the same pocket pattern as the OCPs with the following features:

  • Rip-stop fabric
  • Drawstring waist for quick and secure fit
  • Reinforced seat
  • Button fly
  • Eight-pocket design
  • Two tilted cargo pockets with hook and loop closure and nylon drawstring and quick stop
  • Elastic organizer slots in right cargo pocket
  • Two shin-high cargo pockets with hook and loop closure
  • Two back pockets with hook and loop closure
  • Durable drawstring leg closures

I really dig these pants and fully expect to get a long life out them. If you are looking for a good pair of outdoor tactical pants these are a great option. Durable, won’t show dirt or stains and they are versatile. Check out the video below of me using these pants on the range at some local action pistol matches.
